ENRAM Supports ACS Walk & Roll - Join the Fight
The annual American Cancer Society's Walk & Roll of Chicagoland is held usually in April-May of each year. Please watch the video (at left) to learn more. ENRAM has donated to the event, sponsored participants, and fielded a team in prior years. We held off our assertive fundraising during the economic crisis mainly to give our donors some breathing room in tough financial times. Please consider donating time or funding today or in the future. Cancer does not take a break, so we have donated time and money directly on behalf of our previous donors. Some day, we shall return to asking our friends for donations. Please remember us at that time.
The event is a remarkable tribute to the good hearts of volunteers, sponsors and donors. The 15-mile bike ride, 10-mile in-line skate and the 5-mile walk are all family-friendly events. The day of event celebration includes live entertainment, children's games, food and beverages. Nearly 4000 participants make the valiant effort to reach their goals. The American Cancer Society's mission is to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. If you miss participating in the event this year, then consider helping the ACS next year.
